Jamie Harold is 23, he currently resides in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, having moved with his family from Norfolk as a child. Aside from photography, he enjoys the company of friends, spending time skateboarding, music and of course, most of the other things expected of a young man in this day and age.
Photography first sparked an interest in Jamie during his teens when he was shown a medium format camera by a friend. Since then he has garnered an impressive set of accolades, having acquired a National Diploma in photgraphy at Milton Keynes college, getting the chance to travel and work not only with his cohorts, but also with some of the most respected and celebrated prosfessional skateboarders in the country, and, most impressively, having his photos published in nationally respected magazines and on countless web platforms.
Ultimately, Jamie would like to see his work reach a bigger and broader audience, and, if truth be told, earn the chance to spend some time learning from masters of the craft, namely Terry Richardson, whose candid portrait work has been a source of inspiration for Jamie for many years.
With regards to the future of his burgeoning career, Jamie’s immediate plans are to finish this website, continue shooting skateboarding and spend more time augmenting his skills in portraiture. As for long term, there are a number of projects that he has lined up, all of which will undoubtedly be posted here in time.
